We are now looking for a Distribution and Warehouse Management resource to ensure a robust, cost efficient, timely and environmental friendly distribution and warehousing execution of products and services in accordance with established Supply and Distribution strategy.
Supervise and co-ordinate Import & Export activities with the main focus on maintaining a robust execution with responsibilities :
To support Supply Hub Pune ,all Offices, units and divisions for Import & Export, Warehousing and Distribution related activities.
To co-operate and maintain good relations with various Custom/ Govt. and private agencies in accordance with processes and models.
To co-ordinate with all internal and external customers for their requirement.
To identify opportunities in line with the policies and procedures for the best way to import & export and distribution at the lowest cost abiding all laws of the country.
To avoid delays and cost overruns and be able to provide better service, advise the initiators of the import and export better ways to handle the issues.
To implement procedure and routines for the interface with other departments.
To evaluate performance levels of the total distribution activity and take necessary measure for keep the performance levels with in agreed parameters.
MIS & Reporting of KPIs on a Monthly Basis
Continuous improvement in Efficiency & Cost Saving initiatives
Good communication skills for overseas procurement.
Understanding of Special Duty Exempted Imports Sales Procedure ( High Seas Sale / Customs Bonded Sale etc.)
Knowledge of Excise Law applicability on Manufacturing Industry & Excise duty exemption/s.
Well Verse with Imports / Exports / Re-export procedures & documentation.
Well Verse with BIS,WPC Licenses requirement and applicable regulations
Good knowledge MS Office & hands on experience on any ERP (SAP )
Excellent theoretical and practical knowledge in distribution and/or warehousing issues
Fluent in English
Liasioning with Custom Authorities
Knowledge of SAP
Good knowledge in Supply and/or experience in Distribution & Logistics industry
Experience in Telecommunication Industry is Desirable
