Operational Architect for ERP Platform (Bangalore, KA, IN)
The Operational Architect shall ensure that services, currently in production, are delivered as expected to stakeholders and users. The role will influence and drive actions to make sure that the operations is managed in an optimized way. The Operational Architect acts as an escalation point for business stakeholders for issues with services/solutions/products. The Operational Architect works with stakeholders on solutions, already in production and works closely with the Strategic Product Managers and Technical Product Managers, who works with stakeholders on new/future solutions. The Operational Architect will be responsible for driving initiatives for managing or improving the Operational stability of the SAP landscape as well as the systems, improving ERP Platform landscape with new ideas and process along with stake holders if it is as per AO and oversee such initiatives when it is part of AD by collaborating with all relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Focus on SAP landscape operational stability, ensuring proactive measures are constantly improving stability and anticipating issues
Work collaboratively with Area Delivery Manager and supplier Delivery Managers to ensure proactivity and alignment
Work with suppliers and drive projects, POCs etc that will improve operational stability
Drive innovation in the SAP platform portfolio either individually or along with different stakeholders on a periodic basis to ensure that the platform is at its best
Drive initiatives to bring down TCO of the ERP Platform area
Drive the releases and upgrades for the ERP Platform area
Review SAP systems capacity & disaster recovery plans to improve operational stability
Strong knowledge in SAP BASIS, NetWeaver Administration, OS (LINUX/HPUX), Databases (primarily SAP HANA but also Oracle), high availability cluster technology, etc.
Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholder groups and suppliers
Handle escalations and stakeholder expectations in a proper manner
Clear understanding of IT processes, tools, services and service levels, including experience with escalations
Basic knowledge about the various SAP solutions such as CRM, SRM, Netwever Gateway
Basic integration knowledge about integrations between SAP systems, as well as between SAP and non-SAP systems
Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking

Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirements
A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working with delivery management of large complex SAP solutions
Preferred Qualification & Experience Requirements
7 years’ experience in IT
4-5 Years’ experience is SAP Basis
Strong communications and collaboration skills
