Unit Overview

The Hub India Web & Analytics Development unit within Group Function Marketing & Communications (GFMC) is responsible for the development of capabilities, systems, and tools for the global Marketing & Communications staff. We are now looking for a Marketing Resource Management (MRM) system administrator. The position reports to the Head of M&C Hub India Web & Analytics Development and works closely with Global M&C teams,

Ericsson in India has ~20,000 employees, in a handful of locations. This position will be based in Bangalore, in the Bagmane World Tech Park.

Job Summary

The responsibility of the role is to support Global M&C community with digital tools based on the Microsoft Office 365 eco-system. The purpose is to make the M&C community more productive in their projects (e.g. campaigns, launches, events) by using these new project management tools. This role is based out of Bangalore and will be responsible for the tool’s development, maintenance and administrator tasks (e.g. configurations/settings, user access, security updates), training, and so forth.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Support the global Marketing and Communications unit with matters concerning project and portfolio management, including tool support for planning, collaboration and workflows.
  • Continuous development in the existing applications/ new applications, configure, create templates and flows, on Office 365 platform.
  • Work closely with Ericsson Group IT, keeping up to date on planned platform upgrades, overall IT landscape changes, and so forth.
  • Manage and troubleshoot issues (second line support) and communicate with users.
  • Support with tool/application improvements activities, gap analysis and requirements
  • Perform tool training with M&C staff. Help drive digital competence development throughout Ericsson´s global Marketing & Communications department. Promote new tools and ways-of-working to the whole M&C organization.
  • Create statistics, dashboards and other analysis.
  • Manage tool governance.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • University degree in Marketing, Business, IT or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years of working experience
  • Experience of working in a global team
  • Should have over all 6 to 8 years of industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Office 365, MS Project Online, SharePoint Online, Power automate, PowerApps, logical flows and other systems within the Office 365 eco-system. Knowledge of IT systems & processes
  • Understanding of Business processes, Project and Portfolio Management
  • Fluent verbal and written English
  • Excellent relationship building and consulting skills
  • Supportive and responsive
  • Knowledge of Tableau, power query and Azure is good to know.
  • Driven and ability to work independently
  • Pro-active thinking and result-oriented
